Embracing Change: My Journey from Master Braider to Educator

A New Chapter in My Career

For over 20 years, I’ve served as a Master Braider and Loctician. I have helped women and men embrace and celebrate their natural hair textures. However, over time, I began to feel a shift. My passion for creating styles evolved into something deeper—a calling to teach, develop products, and build something greater than what happens in the chair.

Stepping away from daily appointments isn’t easy. I know that to serve my community on a larger scale, I must transition from behind the chair. I aim to become a full-time educator, mentor, and CEO of Natural Essence Haircare.
